Day One - Breaking Ground

Well it's one day late but that's ok. We are just thrilled to see the action. I got up made smoothies and lattes and flew out the door. I arrived at Blue Heron's Landing at 7:17am just behind the excavator and his Bobcat trailer.  Got out chatted a minute and said please continue - I am here to watch not stop you from working. I stayed to watch the first few holes I have posted the video above.

I came home just after 8:30 to take care of a new friend Saber another Blue Merle Aussie that looks like our old Joshua! Same mellow personality. One blue eye and one brown, a beautiful dog! Stayed home until noon and headed back to the construction site to check on progress.

Went back to find all holes dug and they were getting ready for the concrete truck. He came I took some more pictures and came home.

Jack came home from work and we went to see how the work looked for Day One at Blue Heron's Landing. Looks great - ready now to start the foundation. Will see what the schedule looks like and will update and share pictures of that event.

Great day and so the project begins. Tired and not very thoughtful tonight so I will get more detailed tomorrow. I may start a separate post of all of my product searches.

nighty night.
